How cool is this theme? True strawberries are hard to find at Christmas but hey the colours are just perfect for a fab Christmas card! Ive used some spotty free papers from one of the card magazines from last year teamed with the cute Miss clause manga girl from sugar nellie. Flowers and ribbon from stash and there it is!

Winter Wonderland - A festive tree
Over at Winter Wonderland we would love to see your festive trees this week. Now I have lots of tree stamps so which one to use?
Whilst at Graphicus last weekend I saw this cool car stamp for a mere £2 and immediately thought of this idea from Tim Holtz 12 tags of Christmas - the tree tied to the top of the car!
Unsure of the rest of the card I rummaged in my Christmas papers and found this one by k&Co so I trimmed around the houses to make a little scene. Polar white flower soft gives the look of snow and there it is. The gorgeous stampin up tree on its way to be trimmed up!
Our fabulous sponsor this week is

I took the last card (the post below) into work to show a couple of the girls who dabble in crafting. My colleagues all want me to take my Christmas collection in so they can buy some off me! So I better get cracking and make more as I wont have any left for myself!
Happy Christmas crafting xx

Twas the night before Christmas
This is one of the most gorgeous poems I know and yesterday I found it at the local craft shop as a graphic 45 paper. I'm not usually blessed with seeing what I would like to do immediately with a project but with this one I could see this end product clearly!
Here is the inside of a huge gatefold card. It is 9 1/4 x 9 inches as the size of the poem dictated the inside size of the card. I've used stampin up not quite navy card stock, black and cream. The patterned papers around the edges and sides is from the paper waste.
I love how it has turned out - I hope the photos do it some justice as I am really proud of it!
The stamping on the cards front 2 panels is with weathered wood distress ink and Tim Holtz Christmas stamps - a perfect combination with the papers. So Olde worlde.
I just adore making Christmas cards - this one is a particular favourite although I'm not sure I have an envelope to fit it LOL! 2 eyelets, some ribbon and a heart charm and its complete. I'm entering this into the Bah Humbug challenge which I believe is anything goes x
Hope you like it too!

Winter Wonderland - feeling the Love
Over at Winter Wonderland Marianne is celebrating her anniversary so wanted us to make a card with a love theme. Here I have used a penny black stamp coloured with promarkers and stampin up papers. Its hard to see the sentiment which reads "love makes Christmas special". I think the little mouse is sooo cute!
We have a sponsor too this week offering $15 prize
Whimsy are also having a DT call at the moment so do check them out by clicking on the logo!
My team mates have produced some gorgeous cards this week all with the love theme so do stop by and check them out. We love to see your comments too!
