Bah Humbug - Christmas food!

There was only one food that sprang to mind when I saw this challenge - I make between 12 and 15 Christmas cakes every year and start making them the first week in September! I mostly give them as presents and as I use a recipe my MIL gave me before she died my OHs family love them. I shared the recipe on my other blog here if you would like an easy Christmas cake recipe!

So onto my card. this has a pudding on it but all the bears mixing together reminds me of when the kids were small and used to help me. A forever friends image coloured with promarkers and mounted on red. The bits of papers behind are from Basic grey wassail - bits left over from last year actually- Im such a scrooge LOL.
The wording sentiment is by paperartsy and I always think it conjours up Christmas dinner when you read the words! A little craft work cards sentiment and a heart brad - as I always mix lots of love into my cakes - and thats it done.
Hope you like x
Janet

  1. Oh Janet - this card is absolutely adorable. Love all the different papers - you call yourself scrooge but I call it being prudent. How you have the patience to bake all those cakes at Christmas is beyond me, (I didn't inherit my mum's love of baking at all LOL!), but I'm sure they are very much appreciated. Lovely that you use a handed down family recipe too. Thank you for rising to the challenge and sharing your lovely card with us at Bah! Humbug! this week.
